Cookies
Last revised: 26 August 2026.
This notice explains how Communio (“Communio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on communio.cc (the “Site”).
These words are adapted from the CC0 General Legal cookie notice. Counsel has not yet reviewed them. They describe the cookies the Site uses now. We do not use advertising cookies. We do not use a cookie banner in this version.

What cookies are
Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or device when you visit a website. They can keep you signed in, remember a preference, or help us understand how the Site is used.
The Site may use session cookies, which expire when you close the browser, and persistent cookies, which stay until they expire or you delete them.
We use first-party cookies that we set. Vercel Analytics is provided by Vercel, which hosts the Site.
Cookies we use
| Type | Name | What it does | How long | How to control it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | communio_session | Keeps you signed in. Without it, Studio, Chat, and Me do not know who you are. | 30 days | Sign out, or clear cookies in your browser. This cookie is needed for a signed-in session. |
| Functionality | cc_locale | Remembers whether you chose English, Spanish, or Portuguese. | 1 year | Use the language control in the footer, or clear cookies in your browser. |
| Analytics | Vercel Analytics | Helps us understand how the Site is used, in aggregate. It is not an advertising cookie. | Set by Vercel | Browser controls. In the EEA this is typically treated as non-essential. A consent banner is not yet in place. That is the next legal step. |
We do not use advertising cookies. We do not use social-login cookies. We do not use Flash cookies, session-replay products, or a mobile app SDK. We do not send marketing email that would need a tracking pixel.
Other technologies
The Site may use ordinary browser storage for the same kind of work as a cookie, such as keeping a signed-in session. Your browser can clear that storage.
Vercel Analytics may use a script on the page to record visits. See Vercel’s privacy documentation for how that product works.
Your choices
Browser controls. Most browsers let you remove or reject cookies. Follow the instructions in your browser settings. If you disable cookies, you may need to sign in each time, and the Site may forget the language you chose.
Analytics. You can use browser controls to limit analytics cookies. We do not yet offer a cookie dashboard or a consent banner. In the EEA, Vercel Analytics is typically non-essential. This notice discloses that use until a consent step exists.
Interest-based advertising. We do not run it. Industry opt-out tools for ads do not apply to this Site because we do not place advertising cookies.
If you want the full picture of how we collect and use personal data, read the Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update this notice. The date at the top will change. Please look back when you need an accurate list.
